“The Man”

She walked through the mud

Through the barren patches of lows & highs

Tattered clothes so bad,

A glance could generate a sigh

Mistreated by society,

Misunderstood by time

She lived beyond eternity

Desecrated by her own kind

But she lived to tell a tale

A tale that was one of its kind

Once a lover, a mother to all mankind

She was Eve, searching for her Adam

But all she found was the spirit of the damned

Lost in lust, brutal to her kind

There was no Adam,

Just ungodly versions,

Of the demons now called “The Man”
